PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. (J Trust Bank) has represented its consistency in supporting the government in dealing with the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic. Evidently, since the outbreak of Covid-19 hit Indonesia earlier this year, J Trust Bank has distributed donation to handle Covid-19 in various provinces eight times.
Marking the 9th action of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity for Covid-19, President Director of J Trust Bank Ritsuo Fukadai handed over the donation of personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies to the Governor of Lampung Arinal Djunaidi. The ceremony is held at the Governor's office, Bandar Lampung on Thursday, November 19, 2020.
Meanwhile, PPE and medical equipment donated by J Trust Bank include: hazmat suits, 3ply surgical masks, N95 masks, face shields, shoe covers, protective goggles, and latex gloves. Furthermore, the donation will be distributed to medical personnels who treat Covid-19 patients in various designated hospitals in Lampung.
Ritsuo said the donation of PPE and medical equipment was a realization of the “Win-Win-Win” referral deposit program that the company had launched since the end of April 2020. J Trust Bank is committed to donate an annual interest rate of 0.1% of the total deposit funds collected from the customers through this program, to lessen the burden on the government in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic.
"The management of J Trust Bank really appreciates the high public interest in participating in the 'Win-Win-Win' program because through this program, customers indirectly support medical personnels who are at the forefront of fighting the Covid-19 outbreak. This donation is expected to be an encouragement for health heroes who are currently struggling in the field,” said Ritsuo.
Previously, J Trust Bank had also distributed the Covid-19 donation to South Sumatra Provincial Government, North Sumatra Provincial Government, Bali Provincial Government, South Sulawesi Provincial Government, Surabaya City Government , South Tangerang City Government, Yogyakarta's Indonesia Red Cross, and designated hospital RSAL dr. Mintohardjo, Jakarta.
