Jakarta December 18, 2022. J Trust Bank together with a group of customers that the automotive communities in Indonesia planted trees at two museums, the Jakarta Textile Museum and the Joang Building Museum '45. This activity is fully supported by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Culture Office. On this occasion, J Trust Bank facilitated 100 trees of productive plant species that produce fruit and can be used as natural dyes for textiles.
The background of this activity is the awareness that many of the activities we carry out produce gaseous waste which is dangerous for the sustainability of the earth. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is one of them. This gaseous waste can cause air pollution and with the amount that continues to increase, it results in the occurrence of greenhouse gases, damages the atmosphere, and causes global warming. Carbon dioxide is produced, among others, from the rest of the respiration (breathing) of living things, factory smoke, burning fossils through motorized vehicles, and much more.
As we know, a tree can reduce carbon dioxide and transform it into oxygen (O2) through its ability to carry out photosynthesis. Therefore J Trust Bank invites customers to jointly plant trees as a lifestyle commitment to love the environment. Planting a tree is a simple action that is equal to planting kindness.
The benefits of trees for life include reducing the impact of global warming, providing oxygen for living things, providing shelter for animals, preventing flooding and erosion, reducing air pollutants, storing rainwater and maintaining water reserves in the soil, maintaining soil fertility, controlling air temperature, and make the air fresher / healthier.
