Jakarta, 28 April 2024. J Trust Bank is one of the sponsors of the running event entitled Run for Equality which will be held on Sunday, 28 April 2024 at Senayan Park (SPARK) Central Jakarta. This event was held by the Plan International Indonesia Foundation (Plan Indonesia) together with YPAC Jakarta with the aim of increasing public understanding of equality for all people.
Executive Director of Plan Indonesia, Dini Widiastuti, in his speech said that the Run for Equality 2024 aims to invite people to come together to understand the importance of equality. “We want to invite the public to understand the importance of realizing inclusivity and equality, because we all have a role to play in achieving it. This time, Run for Equality is also a charity activity involving various parties, corporations, civil society organizations, public figures and the wider community to continue to be motivated and support our work in fighting for the rights of children, young people, women and disabled groups in various countries. all corners of Indonesia," said Dini.
In line with this, the Chair of YPAC Jakarta, Kumala Insiwi Suryo, said that the 2024 Run for Equality was a space to open up wider and more inclusive opportunities and access for disabled groups. "We hope that this activity will be a new chapter in realizing equality, especially for disabled groups. Run for Equality also emphasizes that everyone can be involved without exception," said Kumala.

The event with the theme: Unleash Your Inner Superhero was attended by more than 1,100 participants including groups with disabilities. Apart from supporting Run for Equality through CSR program partnerships, J Trust Bank also involved 23 runners and 30 volunteers.
