Jakarta, 4 April 2024. PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. (J Trust Bank) succeeded in winning the 2024 Corporate Secretary Award with the title Good which was held by SWA Media Group on Thursday, April 4 2024. On this occasion the 2024 Corporate Secretary Award carried the theme "The Breakthrough Roles of Corporate Secretary in The Fast Changing Era" an appreciation for Corporate Secretaries (Corsec) who have carried out their roles excellently in Indonesia.
This award is given based on an assessment of the comprehensive implementation of the Corporate Secretary program in six aspects, namely, Investor & Government Relations, Media Relations, Public Relations, CSR Activity, Compliance and Crisis Management Handling.
SWA Media Group Chief Editor Kemal E.Gani explained that the role of the company's Corporate Secretary is very strategic. Corsec plays a role in building a positive image and company reputation in establishing relationships with government, investors, media and the community. This is regulated in Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regulation no. 35/POJK.04/2014 dated 8 December 2014 concerning Corporate Secretaries of Issuers or Public Companies and Decree of the Directors of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia No. Kep-00001/BEI/01- 2014 dated 20 January 2014 concerning Amendments to Regulation No. I-A concerning the Listing of Shares and Equity Securities Other than Shares Issued by Listed Companies.
The 2024 Corporate Secretary Award was received directly by the Corporate Secretary Division Head of J Trust Bank, Ridyawan Amnar. In his speech, he said that this award was an encouragement for the J Trust Bank Corporate Secretary team to increase their commitment and quality of work and play an active role in implementing the company's ESG (economic social, governance) aspects.
