J Trust Bank Donated PPE in Makassar

PT Bank JTrust Indonesia Tbk. (J Trust Bank) donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Provincial Government of South Sulawesi in order to support the handling of COVID-19 pandemic in South Sulawesi.


The PPE donation was presented by Makassar-Botolempangan Acting Branch Office Manager Andi Muhammad Rezeki Muchtar to the Governor of South Sulawesi Prof. Dr. Nurdin Abdullah at the Governor's residence on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.


The donation consisted of hazmat clothes, goggles, surgical masks, face shields, shoes covers, and latex gloves. This PPE donation will be distributed to medical personnels who handle COVID-19 patients in several hospitals in South Sulawesi.


According to President Director of J Trust Bank Ritsuo Fukadai, the donation of PPE was the company's support to the medical personnels as the front liners in handling COVID-19 disease.


"J Trust Bank's management greatly appreciates and supports the medical personnels who are at the forefront in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. This donation is expected to be an encouragement for them who are currently struggling hard in the field, "said Ritsuo Fukadai.


Fukadai had chat with Governor Prof. Dr. Nurdin Abdullah through video call. Governor Nurdin is fluent in Japanese because he had studied at Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan.


Previously, J Trust Bank had donated PPE to RSAL Dr. Mintohardjo in Jakarta in mid-April.
