J Trust Bank Builds Financially Smart Young Generation: Financial Literacy for Students of SMK Mitra Industri MM2100

Cikarang, January 30, 2025 – J Trust Bank continues to be committed to improving the financial literacy of the younger generation through education entitled “Getting to Know Bank Activities and Products and Living Smart with Life Insurance” at SMK Mitra Industri MM2100, Cikarang, West Java.

 

This activity was attended by 24 class X students of the Accounting Department and aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of bank activities and the importance of life insurance in financial planning. The material presented includes personal financial management, types of banking products such as savings, current accounts, and deposits, as well as an understanding of credit products.

 

In addition, students are also given insight into the concept of life insurance, including the principle of mutual cooperation in financial protection, the benefits of having life insurance, as well as important terms in insurance policies such as premiums, sum insured, and claims. By understanding the benefits of life insurance, participants are expected to be more aware of the importance of long-term financial planning and protection against unexpected risks.

 

This activity is part of J Trust Bank’s commitment to support the improvement of financial literacy in Indonesia, especially among students. As the next generation, students are expected to be able to manage their personal finances better in order to achieve a brighter future.
